What is HomeCon?
HomEcon is the home base for running a household — meals, money, and the million small tasks in between.
MEAL PLANNING, DONE PROPERLY
Build a recipe library tagged as Main Dishes or Side Dishes, with real prep and cooktimes, calories per serving, and your go-to favorites starred. Search by name or ingredient, rate what you've made, and browse alphabetically to find things fast. Plan
Lunch and Dinner with a Main plus as many Sides as you want — a real dinner, not just one recipe. Set a headcount per meal so a recipe that serves 4 easily becomes a meal for 8, with every ingredient quantity scaled automatically.
Not cooking tonight? Mark it Take Out right from the planner, restaurant name optional.
EVERYTHING READY AT THE SAME TIME
Set one "serve at" time for the whole meal, and HomEcon works backward — each dish, from the main down to every side, gets its own start-cooking reminder timed off its own prep and cook time, so a 30-minute main and a 10-minute side both hit the table together. A live Cooking Timeline shows the whole plan before you commit to it. Running late? One tap pushes every reminder back 15 minutes at once — right from the notification itself.

Every recipe quietly shows whether you can make it right now, based on what's actually in your Pantry — or exactly what's missing if you're close.
A GROCERY LIST THAT KNOWS WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE
Pick a date range and generate a grocery list from everything you've planned. HomEcon combines and scales ingredients across every meal — mains and sides alike — organizes your Cart by grocery store section (Produce, Dairy, Meat, and more), and skips anything already in your Pantry. Take Out nights are left out entirely, since there's nothing to buy.
SHARE RECIPES, OR DISCOVER NEW ONES
Send any recipe to someone else with a tap, or publish it to the Community so anyone using HomEcon can browse it and add it to their own collection.

Track what's on hand across Pantry, Fridge, and Freezer, flag anything running low, and let the grocery generator quietly skip it next time you plan a week of meals.

Track income and expenses with a simple category breakdown, and set up recurring monthly bills with real due dates. HomEcon tells you when a bill is due, due soon, or overdue, and marking it paid logs the expense automatically so your balance stays accurate without double entry.
